The username is case sensitive

To improve account security, Horizon QCMS uses case-sensitive usernames.

What does this mean in practice?

When you create a username, Horizon QCMS stores it exactly as entered. As a result, you must enter the username using the same capitalization each time you log in.

For example, if your username is:

Jimi Hendrix

you must log in using:

Jimi Hendrix

The following variations will be rejected:

Jimi HENDRIX jimi hendrix JIMI HENDRIX JIMIHENDRIX JimiHendrix

If the username does not match exactly, Horizon QCMS will display an "Input Rejected" message and deny access.

This additional layer of validation helps prevent unauthorized login attempts and ensures that usernames are treated consistently throughout the system. Another useful feature is that spaces are allowed in usernames, making it possible to use your actual name or a more readable identifier instead of a traditional single-word username.

For example:

Jimi Hendrix Heather Nova Nirvana Number One Cynthia & The Digital Bunnies

 are all valid usernames.
